Join Alex Duran of Grounded in Color and Jenn Gaudreau for a nurturing Breathwork and Sacred Sound Journey for the New Moon in Pisces. We will begin with an invocation and what to expect from Breathwork and Sound Healing. We'll open up the circle for sharing of intentions. You will then be invited to lie down (savasana style) as Alex guides us through some gentle waves of connected breath. You will continue the journey as Jenn leads us through a meditative sound bath with the vibration of crystal singing bowls, koshi chimes, soothing vocals, and other instruments. We'll close our circle with an opportunity to share your reflections.
We will have limited, 6+ Ft, socially-distanced, well-ventilated space available for COVID safety. We are honoring the mask mandatory policy and taking temperatures upon check-in.
We recommend bringing a few items that may contribute to your comfort and relaxation such as a pillow and/or meditation cushion, a yoga mat, a blanket, and an eye mask.
We practice creating Brave Space together, and this Circle is open to everyone.
$25 - I Nourish Myself
$30 - I Move with Curiosity
$35 - I Move with Warmth
$40 - I Move Spaciously
I believe in accessibility for attendees and sustainability for my offerings.
Please give what feels aligned and expansive for you. Your gift is an energetic exchange received with deep gratitude as we share this sacred experience together, and it will also help cover the cost of the space rental.
This is a Brave Space where everyone is welcome. If our suggested donations are not
accessible for you, please reach out to me at jenn@jenniferkathryn.com. Upon registration, each participant will have the option to choose what you can pay.
Larger gifts contribute to a scholarship fund to maintain accessibility for all who feel called to join us in conscious community.
Each circle will have limited space to maintain intimacy and COVID safety.
•Please bring a blanket, yoga mat (to lie on), an eye mask and anything else you need to make your experience comfortable. We'll be sitting up for some of the time, and during the breathwork + sound ceremony portion, we will invite you to lie down so you can connect with your breath, sound, and reiki.
•You may choose to wear something colorful, flowy and/or ceremonial. Yoga clothes are also completely appropriate! Most importantly, wear something that feels very comfortable, and dress in layers in case your temperature fluctuates.
•You may also want to bring a special item for our altar: a crystal, a mala, a candle, or another personal item that holds significance for you.
•When you enter The Collective, you will check in first. Please the ceremony area quietly as you set up your space. Once we are all settled, Jenn and Alex will use ceremonial palo santo to smudge (cleanse your aura). If you have an allergy, or simply prefer not to be smudged, please let us know beforehand!
COVID RELATED DETAILS:
•Since creating public offerings, I am getting tested for COVID regularly. If I receive a positive test, I will cancel the event. Your credit will be applied to the next public event (offered at least monthly at The Collective St. Pete, and occasionally at other venues).
•I am washing my hands regularly and monitoring myself for any signs of lowered immunity. My request is that you do the same, and if there is any hint of not feeling 100%, please feel released to stay at home and care for yourself.
•We will be practicing the "COVID Formal" policy at The Collective St. Pete. Masks are required during the event. Please allow 6 feet between mats. You may want to wear an athletic style mask to make the breathwork portion more comfortable.
(Please see www.thecollectivestpete.com for more information.)
•I will be sanitizing all of my instruments prior to the ceremony.
•I will be singing at times with a mask on; please be mindful of your concerns when you choose your seat. I want to do all I can to ensure you
feel comfortable and safe.
•Bring your own pillows, blankets, eye mask, and water bottle to limit your exposure to others. Please bring hand sanitizer for yourself or to share.
•Get plenty of rest and stay hydrated. It's also recommended (although not necessary) to avoid alcohol or caffeine the day of the ceremony.
•If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me at jenn@jenniferkathryn.com
"Ceremony is a sacred gathering in deep presence where we are showing up as ourselves, in our truest, most authentic expression. Sacred sound ceremony brings us together in a common intention and invites Spirit to be present with us. Opening and holding a sacred space in this way invites an opportunity for deep transformation to take place with our bodies, minds, and spirits. Sound ceremony, then, is the gathering in reverence and presence of sound." -Jayananda James Roland
Sound healing therapy creates a vibrational atmosphere that relaxes the nervous system and allows you to enter into a theta brain state where the body can begin to restore and repair itself. Being in this meditative state promotes a sense of peace and wellbeing and has been known to reduce stress and release trauma. It is a sacred container where you are invited to open your heart, connect with your intuition, and tune into the frequencies of love, gratitude, and joy.
Breathwork offers a nurturing experience and a journey for your body to connect and be present with the mind, digging into the stories we hold in our body through a series of inhalations and exhalations.
Jenn Gaudreau is a soul embodiment photographer, personal branding coach, womxn’s circle facilitator, reiki practitioner, cacao ceremony spaceholder, and a carrier of sacred sound. She recently completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training (RYT) at Lotus Pond Center for Yoga and Health in Tampa, FL (RYS) and has returned to school to complete her education in the field of psychology. Her work involves creating an empowering space for womxn to show up authentically and embody their truth, their radiance, and their power to capture their essence in a beautiful soul portrait. She also uses the vibration of music and voice along with reiki, cacao, yoga, meditation, and pranayama, to create experiences that promote relaxation, restoration, heart opening, and emotional healing. She is interested in the ways mindfulness and spiritual practice can help individuals live out their own personal narratives more vibrantly and contribute to a life of flourishing, wellbeing, and social change for the collective.
Our ceremony will combine many different elements that have been passed on to me from several sacred lineages. It is my intention to honor their sources with the utmost respect. I am committed to the decolonization of spiritual practices in my life, and I share these particular rituals with permission and blessing from elders in these ancient traditions. I have been trained in a 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher Training in the hatha tradition, a 100 Hour Yoga Alliance certified Sacred Sound & Cacao ceremony training that includes elements of medicine and mantra, completed a New Moon Womxn's Circle Facilitator training in the tradition of the Wild Woman Archetype, received my Reiki Level II attunement in the Usui Holy Fire Lineage, and have had the gift of sitting with and learning from indigenous medicine carriers in Central America.
