In the ten years I’ve been photographing weddings and the seven I’ve been in business, I’ve spent a lot of time looking for resources and products that will make my workflow more seamless. I love business tools that help me do my job better and make my clients’ lives easier, too. So when I discovered Honeybook, a beautiful project management and booking system, I was thrilled. It creates visually stunning brochures, proposals, questionnaires, and contracts, tracks milestones in the custom process I’ve developed for my couples and lifestyle clients, provides easy online payment options, and enables me to stay better connected on a regular basis.

And then let’s talk about Aisle Society, a network of the best wedding blogs in the country. Aisle Society is a new hub for the most sophisticated and beautiful wedding content online. Formed to share inspiration in one central place, it’s a tool to help couples find inspiration that is curated to your personal preferences and aesthetic.

When Aisle Society decided to team up with Honeybook for their Chicago launch at Brique in November, I knew it would be one of those events I just couldn’t miss. And when Ami of Elizabeth Anne Designs asked if I’d photograph that event, it was a no brainer. Killer food by Boutique Bites at one of my favorite venues in the city, a collaboration of two amazing resources, and the Chicago wedding community were a recipe for the perfect night.
