Last month I went to Seattle with one of my dearest friends, Alaina Bos, for the third part of a Creative Live business course with Jasmine Star. It was my first time there, and it did not disappoint! Between visiting the first Starbucks, checking out the Pike Place Market, Brave Horse Tavern, the gum wall, the Space Needle and a few other hidden gems, Seattle lived up to my expectations. But one of my favorite experiences was spending time with the lovely Kelly and Gonzalo. Kelly and Alaina went to grad school together, and so when Alaina told her that we’d be in Seattle, scheduling their engagement session made perfect sense.

We began at the Pike Place Brewery where Kelly and Gonzalo had their first date. Only half a beer in, the four of us were all laughing and talking like old friends. Kelly and Gonzalo stole sweet glances and smiles as they talked about how their relationship progressed from their first beers together at the brewery- a match.com date that they didn’t expect to turn into love.  And I couldn’t help but grin as they playfully teased one another. Although Gonzalo claimed to by shy in front of the camera, I knew we would have no problem capturing their love.

It was predictably overcast, but we were able to spend some time at the market and the waterfront park before it started to drizzle.

Kelly’s eyes are just killer! So gorgeous.
